2 palaces and the snowy alps made for a perfect day...at least for two of us (notice drowsy Daisy!). We loved the over-the-top whimsical Ludwig II and his homes, Schloss Linderhof and Neuschwanstein. Our tours were all in German, but from what we've learned there is a lot of drama surrounding Ludwig and his family, the Wittelsbachs.
