Happy Easter!

We colored (only 5!) Easter Eggs this morning. We all had fun coloring, and Daisy only dropped 2 of the 5 eggs. I couldn't choose a reasonable number of pictures to share, so here is a fun collage! (Double-click on the image to enlarge.)

Also, I would like to share my beautiful vase with hanging eggs on (now flowering) branches. We were so happy to see the little white blossoms open up! These lightweight, plastic eggs are everywhere here, with people decorating the bushes on their lawns or doing this branches thing. We are leaving on Tuesday for an Easter vacation to northern England (York and Scarborough) and Edinburgh. It feels good to catch up with pictures that have been piling up so that I can provide an update when we get back. Sorry for the deluge; next time, I'll try to spread out the blog posts over a few days. Happy Easter!

  1. Ah! I love the blooming branches and eggs! I am definitely doing that next year. They sell the branches at Trader Joe's, though it'd be easy to find some wild ones around here, too. :)

  2. yeah seriously, with your flowering branches assortment there this should be no problem :) I've never decorated any lightweight eggs, but that would be a great project with kids, huh? It's a way to continue the Christmas tree thing...
